Paul McGann as Dr. Who #8 averaged an overall rating of C+ (with only 1 show).

We hope to watch the 8th Doctor again in 2014. It will be fun to see if we rank him higher or lower than our first viewing in 2014.

Seventh Doctor – Next 12 shows ratings (A-)

Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor – How we rated his 12 Doctor Who shows that ended the Classic Era of Doctor (#144 through #155) as we watched them all in broadcast order – first in 2013 and then hopefully again in 2014!

Colin Baker as Dr. Who #6 averaged an overall rating of A, surprising to me as I compile this summary since we did not like his portrayal of The Doctor.  Almost half of his shows we rated as A+ and the worst show by far was The Twin Dilemma.

We hope to watch the 6th Doctor again in 2014. It will be fun to see if we rank him higher or lower than our first viewing in 2014.

Fifth Doctor – Next 20 shows ratings (A-)

Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor – How we rated his 20 Doctor Who shows (#116 through #135) as we watched them all in broadcast order – first in 2013 and then hopefully again in 2014!

Peter Davison as Dr. Who #5 averaged an overall rating of A-, a bit less than the prior two Doctors (Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker). Less than half of his shows we rated as A+ and the worst show was Resurrection of the Daleks.

We hope to watch the 5th Doctor again in 2014. It will be fun to see if we rank him higher or lower than our first viewing in 2014.

Fourth Doctor – Next 41 shows ratings (A)

Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor – How we rated his 41 Doctor Who shows (#75 through #115) as we watched them all in broadcast order – first in 2013 and then again in 2014!

Tom Baker as Dr. Who #4 averaged an overall rating of A, about the same as Dr. Who #3 (Jon Pertwee). Over half of his shows we rated as A+ and the worst show was The Invisible Enemy. We hope to watch the 4th Doctor again in 2014. It will be fun to see if we rank him higher or lower than our first viewing in 2014.

Third Doctor – Next 24 Doctor Who shows ratings (A)

Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor – How we rated his 24 Doctor Who shows (#51 through #74) as we watched them all in broadcast order – first in 2013 and then again in 2014!

Jon Pertwee as Dr. Who #3 averaged an overall rating of A, slightly higher than Dr. Who #2 (Patrick Troughton). Half of his shows we rated as A+ and NONE of them rated lower than a B+ grade! The only two shows that were NOT an A grade show were The Daemons, The Curse of Peladon and The Mutants (all three were nearly A rated).

We soon will be watching the 3rd Doctor again. It will be fun to see if we rank him higher or lower than our first viewing in 2013.

Second Doctor – Next 21 Shows Ratings (A)

Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor – How we rated the next 21 Doctor Who shows (#30 through #50) as we watched them all in broadcast order – first in 2013 and then again in 2014!

Patrick Troughton as Dr. Who #2 averaged an overall rating of A which is a bit higher than William Hartnell as Dr. Who #1. Over half of his shows we rated as A+ (which is great since many of his shows are viewable only as reconstructions and not the original full video). The worst show was The Macra Terror.

We are now watching the 2nd Doctor again. It will be fun to see if we rank him higher or lower than our first viewing in 2013.

First Doctor – First 29 Doctor Who shows ratings (B+/A-)

The Very First Doctor was William Hartnell. We watched all 29 of his shows in broadcast order … twice! Here is how we rated the first 29 shows as we watched them all – first in 2013 and then again in 2014!

Yes … we considered MANY more of them to be A+ top grade shows the second time around! Some of the shows we liked much better the second time around, while others we considered much worse! For example, Marco Polo went from a C to an A while The Myth Makers dropped from an A- to a D. Go figure!

Overall, we rated the average Dr. Who #1 show a B+ on our first viewings in 2013.  We liked the a bit more on our second viewing of the shows in 2014 as our average rating was A-. The worst shows were The Myth Makers, The Smugglers and The Rescue.
